Prayer List
We started a list of all young people connected with families in the church. The list is available to members at a private page on the church Web site.
Training
We agreed to study the Youth Ministry Handbook section on organization and discuss it at our January meeting. Darren will order copies of the manual for those who do not have it.
Meetings
Better Meetings
We read the chapter on meetings and made a list of things we could do to improve our meetings:
- Use a variety of programs.
- Have a theme for each program.
- Visit other youth groups.
- Invite older people to attend.
- No more ice breaker.
- Learn memory verses.
- Have a monthly theme.
- Give a motivational speech to introduce the monthly theme.
- Start a prayer conference call.
- Have meetings in different places.
- Take field trips.
Other Churches to Visit
We decided to visit nearby churches to see what they do for their AY programs.

Schedule
We planned program themes for December and January. We decided to pick themes from Seventh-day Adventists Believe. Roberto, Eric, Zach, and Evan each chose a theme to prepare a program for. The dates need to be confirmed. See programs page for up to date schedule.
