Our Great Calling

Romans 10

This was one of those sabbaths where you can teach and preach, but your passion gets in the way and spills all over the place. I actually had to stop myself due to the fact that I was starting to repeat how important that it was that we as Christians are called to be light in a darkened world—the light of God’s love and the force that corrects the way He has been misrepresented. So the sound people who were recording the sermon stopped the recording after they heard me comment, “I really have to stop myself now,” because it was getting close to 12:30; but the fact is I went on for about five more minutes. Here is the sum of the matter: the failproof test of a person’s walk with Christ is that person’s capacity to love.
