Lakeland Seventh-day Adventist Church

Our youth meetings have begun! Last night Petronella shared personal experiences that taught her why we should not give up on God when He lets bad things happen to us. Tonight our topic was why our efforts to do good fail, and how God helps us. We had a small group of people who participated in the small group discussion period both nights.

I also have something to say to those young people and parents who are letting fears or other plans keep you from participating as you should. Pray for God to take those things away from you. When this work is done, those things will be absolutely irrelevant. God wants you on His team. If you think you can get to know God or work for Him on your own, please be honest with yourself. Passing up this opportunity means you’re likely to pass up others.
